A First Class Foyer

A foyer often gives off your home's first impression.  Try walking in your home through a guest's eyes.  Does it feel welcoming?  Is it a good reflection of the rest of your homes design taste? Does it serve your family function or is it a wasted space?
Before this entry table gets lost against the warm wood of the floors and banister.  The blank wall is screaming for attention and is the perfect spot for a new mirror.   The decorative accessories do not fit the scale of the table itself and the shelf below is a missed opportunity for additional storage.  A few minor changes go a long way and help this foyer reach its potential!
By painting the table black it now stands out and helps ground the foyer area.  A new mirror and a few table tops accessories bring it all together.

Make sure the entry is functional as well as beautiful!  Here we placed two baskets for their boys to house the backpacks, hats and scarves, etc.

An animal print rug welcomes the guest in a lighthearted but sophisticated way.
